DOVER Dorothy M. Paules, 82, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Select Speciality Hospital of York. She was the wife of Richard E. Paules. Mr. and Mrs. Paules observed their 62nd wedding anniversary on December 30, 2012. Dorothy was born in Enola, on October 14, 1930, a daughter of the late S. Gordon Rudy, Sr. and Dorothy M. (Neumyer) Rudy. Mrs. Paules worked in the accounts payable department of the Bon Ton from many years. She was a 1948 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of York. In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by five children, Nanette M. Smith, Richard E. Paules, Jr., and Gregory A. Paules and wife, Melody all of Dover, Jeffrey L. Paules of York, and Jenifer L. Paules of Beaver Dam, Wis.; six grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Kristine Paules, Megan Wertz, George Smith, IV, Christopher Smith, and Rachael Paules; two great-grandchildren, Alexzander Wertz and Ashton Wertz; a sister, Denna Reber and husband, Michael of Rochester, N.Y.; an uncle, William Neumyer of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, S. Gordon Rudy, Jr. and Ronald Rudy; and a sister-in-law, Ann Rudy. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Etzweiler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. A viewing will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 415 N.
