WRIGHTSVILLE Earnest I. Feaser, 81, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care Center, Lancaster. He was the husband of Dian F. (Resh) Feaser to whom he was married for 58 years. Ernie was a devoted husband and father, born in Penn Township, Perry County on September 23, 1931. He was the son of the late William and Maggie (Hess) Feaser. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War; and then attended Thompson Business School. Ernie retired from York International as a materials handler after more than 26 years of service. He was a member of the Riverside Lodge F&AM #503 and the Abel-Poff-Leithiser Post #469. In addition to his wife, Ernie is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Workinger and her husband Dennis and Alicia Witmer and her husband Ken, both of Red Lion. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Katelyn Witmer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five sisters and eight brothers. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 243 Hellam St., Wrightsville, with the Rev. Barbara A. Caruana officiating, with a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 243 Hellam St., Wrightsville, PA 17368 or to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Dr., P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
