YORK Fay Jacquelyn Entler thy good and faithful servant has gone home on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from Misericordia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 84. She was the wife of the late Adolph Entler. Fay was a graduate of Dover High School Class of 1943. She was also a graduate of York Hospital School of Nursing and Millersville State University. She was a nurse and teacher and a member of St. Patrick Church. Born in York, on March 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Emma (Laughman) Sheffer. She leaves two sons, Chester Staub and his wife, Rose, and Thomas Staub and his wife, Pam, a daughter, Joan Marie Shindel and her husband, Stevie. She was "Oma" (grandma) of Jacquelyn, Jennifer, Tammy, Amy and Jeffrey and "Great Oma" of Judah, Job, Justus, Michael, and Max. She also leaves a step great-granddaughter, Mikayla, a brother, Donald Sheffer and a sister, Joan Graybill. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ervin Sheffer, Sr., Walter Sheffer and Stewart Sheffer, Jr. Viewing will be 12 Noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at St. Patrick Church 231 S. Beaver St. in York. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the church with Reverend Samuel E. Houser officiating. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens in Dover.
