Mohrbach MANHATTAN, KS Frances K. Mohrbach, 93, died November 9, 2012, at Stoney-brook Retirement Community. She was born September 8, 1919, in Adams County, the daughter of Charles and Jenny (Currens) Mohrbach. She had lived in the same house for 50 years in York, prior to moving to Manhattan, Kan., in March of 2009. Frances was an inspector for York Dental Supply Company for many years. She was an excellent cook and baker and had won many medals at the York County fair. She was also an avid gardener, enjoyed traveling and bus trips, and loved her dogs. Frances was ministered to by the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church when she was in Manhattan. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings: Eugene Mohrbach and Kathryn Miller. Survivors include her nephew, Forrest Miller and his wife, Helen of Manhattan; and three great-nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Laura and Noah Miller.
