YORK Frances M. Miller, 96, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late James R. Miller. Born in Clinton County, the daughter of the late William I. and Bertha (Kryder) Goodman, she was a flashcube maker for Sylvania. Frances delivered for Meals on Wheels, and attended the United Methodist Church at Normandie Ridge. She was also an avid gardener. She is survived by a son, James Miller of Medford, N.Y.; five grandchildren, James Miller of Northeast, PA, Jeanna Moritz of New York, Dwendy Johnson of York, Jeffrey Johnson of York and Courtney Shue of York; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Miller Johnson. Following cremation a service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Normandie Ridge in the Multi Purpose Room, 1700 Normandie Ridge, York, with the Rev. David L. Brinker officiating, and there will be a visitation from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Multi Purpose Room. Burial will follow at a later date in Lock Haven.
