GLENVILLE Frank William Wells III, 59, passed away at home with his family by his side on December 3, 2012. He was the loving husband of 14 years of Theresa (McSorley) Wells; who lovingly cared for him until his last breath. Frank was born in York on August 22, 1953, the son of Sylvia (Sanders) Wells and the late Frank William Wells Jr. He graduated from Central High School class of 1971. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Ft. Lewis, Wash., from 1972-1975. Frank was a fabricator for Precision Custom Components in York for over 37 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the great outdoors. He was very proud to have served his country and was a World War II history buff. He also enjoyed yard sales and antiquing. In addition to his wife Theresa; his is survived by his son, Jason Lee Wells and his fiancee, Anna Perry; his grandson, James Miner; his mother, Sylvia (Sanders) Wells; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Sanders of York; his sisters, Kerry Wells Fox of Culpepper, Va., and Julie Wells Roth of Dover; and his brother, Joseph Lee Wells of Orwigsburg. He is also survived by his nieces, Dara Fox of Richmond Va., Kate Fox of Branchburg N.J.; his nephews, Zachary Wells of Mechanicsburg and Jacob Biller of Dover; and a group of loyal friends. Following cremation a memorial service in celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Hanover 1st Church of God, 600 Fairview Dr., Hanover PA 17331 with Pastor Dan Thomas officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at Jefferson cemetery in Jefferson with military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday. Family services are under the direction of Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC of Spring Grove.
