MANCHESTER George C. "Chuck" Baublitz, 57, died on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 9:09 a.m. at York Hospital. View-ings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and again from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at Workinger-Semmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York. The service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David A. White, pastor of Grace Brethren Church of York, officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mr. Baublitz was born April 20, 1955, in York, the son of the late Clayton Henry and Anna Mae (Keller) Baublitz. He was the owner and operator of Chuck's Auto Repair for 25 years, a graduate of the former York County Area Vo-Tech School, and a member of the York County Garageman's Association, the White Rose Motorcycle Club and the NRA. Mr. Baublitz is survived by a son, Bradley C. Baublitz and wife Heather of York; a daughter, Amy C.E. Baublitz of York; three grandchildren, Madison, Jesse and Franklin; a brother, Robert D. Baublitz of Dillsburg; and a sister, Linda J. Grim of Manchester. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce H. Baublitz.
