DOVER Glenn S. Wine, 77, passed away on November 6, 2012, at Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife and love of his life of over 40 years, Faye M. (Black) Wine. Glenn was born in Hanover on July 7, 1935, and was the son of the late Ralph and Estella (Fuhrman) Wine. He graduated from Eichelberger High School class of 1953. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He worked for Greiner Industries for many years and retired in 1997. He was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post #791, where he served as commander for 6 terms. He was also a member of the Spring Grove VFW Post #5265 and the McSherrystown Moose Lodge. He loved his family deeply and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Faye; he is survived by his daughter, Jodi L. (Riley) Geiger and her husband, Dennis Jr. of Dover; his sons, Lance A. Wine and wife, Darcy of Virginia and Travis L. Riley and wife, Brenda of Delaware; his grandchildren, Travis, Alec, Connor, Maddie, Kaden, Brayden, Ryan and Kenadi; and his great-grandson, Coen. He is also survived by his sister, Darlene Shultz of Hanover; his brother, Donald Wine and wife, Nancy of Hanover; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Janet Potorff and Esther Gigous; and his brother, Mark Wine. A funeral service in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove with the Rev. Larry McConnell officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at St. Jacobs Union Cemetery in York New Salem.
