HALLAM Guy C. Keemer passed away in his 88th year Saturday, December 22, 2012. The funeral service will be private. Interment will be in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave., is assiting the family. Mr. Keemer was the son of the late Guy C., Sr., and Bertha (Landis) Keemer. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lucille A. (Kline) Keemer of Hallam; a son Howard Hergen-rother of Holidaysburg; a daughter, Dana Wenrich and her husband, Ken of York; a granddaughter, Siri Wenrich of Baltimore; a grandson, Bradley Wenrich of York; a niece, Sharon Ream of Hallam; a nephew, Charles Ream of Windsor; and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Wilson and Nancy Ream. Guy was a well-known Antique Dealer with customers up and down the Eastern Seaboard. At age six he accompanied his dad to sales and spent his allowance on an object he then sold through his dad's antique shop. He continued to do so throughout his twenty years in the U.S. Navy Submarine division, buying mainly in New England and Philadelphia. Retiring from the Navy in 1963, he opened a shop in Hallam.
