DOVER Harry E. Miller, Jr., 90, died at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Rosalie E. (Arnold) Miller, with whom he celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on December 2, 2012. There will be no viewing. Following cremation with Workinger-Semmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, a visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26, from 3 to 3:55 p.m. at which time military honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard B. Starr, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in Starview, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Mr. Miller was born September 11, 1922, in York County, and was the son of the late Harry E., Sr. and Annie (Stambaugh) Miller. He was a custodian with the U.S. Postal Service at both the York and West York branches and a U.S. Army veteran, having served during WWII in the European Theater of Operations. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife; a daughter, Debra A. Miller of York; six grandchildren, Simone and husband, Joseph, Michelle, Corey, Todd, Mark, and Brian; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ervin, Charles, and Gerald Miller; three sisters, Rose Duncan, Charlotte Gordon, and Annamae Naftal; and a daughter-in-law, Liz. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Miller; a daughter, Nancy Lecrone; and a brother, Earl Miller.
