DOVER Helen M. Schmuck, 65, entered into rest at 5:13 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014, at her home. She was the wife of the late Glenn R. Schmuck, Sr. Born September 21, 1948, in Warrington Township, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Daisy M. (Shaffer) Kunkle. Helen was a cook for Rossville Family Restaurant. She enjoyed gardening. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen is survived by two children, Glenn R. Schmuck, Jr. of York and Tammy M. Higgs of Gettysburg; seven grandchildren, Cory A., Journey M. and Courtney M. Higgs, Catherine M. and Glenn R. Schmuck III, and Codey J. and Alex M. Walker; three great-grandchildren, Nevaeh M. Higgs, C.J. Danner and Blayke M. Weagley; and six siblings, George, Luther, Connie, Emma, Judy and Rosemary. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Lester and Ruth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen's funeral at 12 noon and the visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be the Rev. James Copulos, pastor of Wrightsville Hope U.M. Church.
