YORK Joan Beverly Spahr, 77, entered into God's eternal care, Wednesday, June 19, 2013, surrounded by her family at home. She was the wife of the late Clarence Spahr, Jr. She was born on February 7, 1936, a daughter of the late Janet (Woolery) Zipp and William Forry. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou E. Stouffer and Judy Kay N. Anderson and her husband, Lynn of York; two sons, Robert JC. Spahr and his wife, Terrie and Steven T. Spahr and his fiancee, Lydia of York; a stepdaughter, Vanessa Bahn; a stepson, Clarence Spahr, III and his wife, Sharon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Butch Zipp and his wife, Chick, Robert Zipp and Barry Zipp, all of Baltimore. Joan was preceded in death by a son, Brian D. Spahr and a stepson, David Spahr. Joan was the owner of the M&M Lounge of York for over 40 years and previously Joan and her late husband, Clarence also owned the Bright Star Restaurant of York for 30 years. There will not be a service.
