GLEN ROCK John A. Wehrly, 85, died Friday, January 4, 2013, at Manor Care Dallastown, where he resided for the past three months. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with his Pastor, the Rev. Dr. Jason Leader officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Stone Church Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. John was born on November 28, 1927, in Codorus Township, a son of the late Curvin C. and Margaret M. (Emig) Wehrly. He had helped his parents on their farm in Codorus Township and at several neighbor's farms for many years. He also helped at Wehrly's Auction in Glen Rock, enjoyed going to auctions and loved all kinds of trucks. He was a member of St. Jacob's Stone (U.C.C.) Church and of the Menges Mills Historic Horse, Steam and Gas Association. John leaves a sister, Ethel L. Beard, and a brother, Charles L. Wehrly both of Glen Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob's Stone (U.C.C.) Church, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA 17329.
