ULYSSES Jonathan L. Winters "Buck", 59, formerly of York, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013, at the Geisinger Medical Center. Mr. Winters was born August 1, 1954, in York, the son of the late James F. and Marion L. (Shatto) Winters. Jonathan was a machinist and worked in turbine manufacturing at Allis-Chalmers/Voith Hydro. He was a member of the Hellam VFW Post 7045. Jon enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, snowmobiling, and his motorcycle. Jon excelled at billiards. A much beloved brother, Jonathan is survived by his siblings, Marilyn C. Winters of York, Jan M. Winters of Red Lion, Maureen D. Sanchez of Albuquerque, N.M., and Melanie B. Flaharty of York. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Darrell and Velma Winters of Dallastown. In addition, Buck leaves his second family, his dear friends from the Potato City Country Inn, located in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St. Dallastown, from 6 to 8 p.m., with a brief memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. The service will be officiated by Pastor Randy Panebaker. Interment is private.
