June E. King Obituary
DILLSBURG June E. (Byers) King, 84, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Elmcroft of Dillsburg. She was the widow of the late Ernest S. King. She was born May 17, 1928, in Franklintown, the daughter of the late Bruce A. and Beulah M. Thomas Byers. June was a housewife and mother as well as a member of Franklintown United Brethren Church and the Farm Women's Group #17 of York County. June is survived by her loving family, her sons, John R. of Mechanicsburg, William E. of Dallastown, David E. of Manchester, and Paul D. of Dillsburg; her daughters, Sharon L. Funt of Wellsville, and Sandra J. Sheaffer and Shirley L. Hawkins, both of Dillsburg; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Steven M. King, and her brother, Kenneth Byers. Services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, with the Rev. Charles Milliken officiating. Burial will be in the Barrens Salem Union Cemetery, Dillsburg. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
