RED LION Margaret E. (Reinecke) Lloyd passed quietly in her sleep on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 5:13 p.m. at Manor Care Dallastown at th age of 92. She was the wife of Fred H. Lloyd, Jr. who entered into rest on November 13, 2004. Born in High Rock on November 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Nora B. (Johnson) Reinecke. She and her late husband were self-employed poultry farmers, retiring in the early 1980's. She was a lifelong member of McKendree U.M. Church and the United Methodist Women of the church and a former member of the Society of Farm Women of Pennsylvania. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and maintaining her farm. Margaret is survived by nieces and nephews, Carolyn M. Bauman and husband John, Joseph E. Reinecke, Jr., Dennis M. Reinecke and wife Jocelyn, Christine R. Staats and husband Robert, and Brian M. Reinecke; four great-nieces; and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph E. Reinecke. A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at McKendree U.M. Church, Airville. The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with her pastor, Rev. David A. Walker officiating. Burial will be in McKendree U.M. Cemetery. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to McKendree U.M. Church, 3708 Delta Road, Airville, PA 17302.
