YORK Maryann Fullerton, 76, entered into rest Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Misericordia Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the loving wife of William "Bill" Fullerton for 56 years. Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013, with a 7:30 p.m. Remembrance Service at St. Joseph Church 2935 Kingston Rd., and 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church with Rev. Dennis Klemash OFM Cap. as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Maryann was born February 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kraynak) Hudak. She was a graduate of Marymount High School and Cosmetology Beauty School in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Kent State University. She worked for Tamarkin Optometry for a number of years and then began working at Manor Care North (formerly Barley's) as a hairdresser for 20 years. She was a 40 year member of St. Joseph Church. Maryann is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Patricia Fullerton, Janet McNally and her husband George, David Fullerton and his wife Kelly (McNamara), and John Fullerton and his wife Cindy (Andrews); grandchildren, Steven, Joe and Mary Beth Stine; Katie and Daniel McNally; Alexis, Olivia, and Eliza Fullerton; Kent, Kyle and Lydia Fullerton. Maryann was the last surviving of eight children. Maryann was involved in many volunteer activities over the years at St. Joseph's and York Catholic. Her greatest joy was her close family especially all of her grandchildren. She treasured going to school events, sporting games, family vacations, and celebrating holidays and special occasions. Everyone was welcome at the Fullerton house. Maryann was special not only to her family but to neighbors and anyone who needed help. She was a second mom to many. Nothing was too much to ask of her and she will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church Building Fund, 2935 Kingston Rd. York, PA 17402; or to Misericordia Building Fund, 998 South Russell St, York, PA 17402. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York, is assisting the family.
