Morgan L. Wagner, "Muggs", "Captain Morgan", 75, died at 3:55 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Pauline M. (Shaffner) Wagner. They were married 43 years. Born August 21, 1937 in York, he was a son of the late Jack and Mary (Baum) Wagner. Morgan was a local businessman who owned and operated Strinestown TV, Morgan's Concessions, Morgan's Supply Co., and Megatronix in West York. He was a former member of Strinestown United Brethren in Christ Church. Morgan was a former volunteer fireman with the Strinestown Fire Company. He had also played tenor saxophone and keyboard for the musical groups "Royal Four" and "Gamblers" and was a former member of the Musicians Union of York. Morgan was also a former member of the Small Business Association. He enjoyed boating, camping and fishing. In addition to his wife, Morgan is survived by six daughters, Connie L. Durham and Shelby L. Pague, both of Delta, Karen Wentz and Sherry Kellison, both of Dover, Suzanne E. Wentz of Slidell, La., and Regina Slaseman of Etters; two stepdaughters, Tina M. Supenia and Jody Kennedy, both of Strinestown; a stepson, Daniel E. Meals of Dallas; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three nieces; and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Wagner; a sister, Linda Winters; and a nephew. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Morgan's funeral at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. There will be viewings from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Strinestown Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev.
