YORK Myrtle M. (Stump) Ritter Lane, 96, went to be with her Lord Jesus, on Saturday, February 16, 2013, from Manor Care North. Born on April 16, 1916, in Glen Rock, she was the daughter of the late Laura (Winters) and Ralph Stump. She belonged to the Saginaw Community Church. Mrs. Lane was employed by Borg Warner, in earlier years. Myrtle was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, whose presence will be greatly missed. Her greatest legacy was her faith. She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Nancy V. Why of York; two sons, Raymond E. Ritter of Loganville, Eugene F. Ritter of McSherrystown; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; six stepchildren and their families, Nancy Morris of Mt.Wolf, Donald Faircloth of Etters, Lee Faircloth of York, Ellen Smith and Meleta Ann Beard, both of West Virginia and Joan Busserman of York. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond E. Ritter, Sr., Henry Lane and Howard Faircloth. A Celebration of Life Service will be at her church, Saginaw Community Church, 860 Market St., Mt. Wolf, Pa., 17347, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Pastor Jeff Wilt and Mr. Darvin Hopkins will be officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. The Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., York, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
