DALLASTOWN Naomi K. Griffiths, 96, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Dallastown Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late John A. Griffiths. Naomi was born in Freedom, Beaver County, on August 4, 1916, a daughter of the late Adam John and Isabelle (Bench) Kuhl. She was a graduate of Geneva College and taught in one room schools during World War II. Her memberships include Wenonah Chapter Order of Eastern Star in Beaver Falls and the American Association of University Women. Naomi is survived by her son, Rees Griffiths and his wife Susan of York. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Zion United Methodist Church, 1030 Carlisle Road, York, with the Rev. Bruce Fensterbush officiating. A visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. A private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
