YORK Philip C. Eisenhart passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at York Hospital after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Arnold) Eisenhart. Born in York on July 28, 1947, he was the son of Carl Eisenhart of York and the late June (Daugherty) Eisenhart. He was a 1965 graduate of York Suburban High School and a 1969 graduate of the University of Delaware. Phil retired from the York County Prison in 2007. Phil was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Phillies. He played for various softball teams in York including Bob Hoffman and Jackie B's. He was also a member of several social clubs including Liberty, Victory, Girard and V. P. A. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a sister, Gail Eisenhart of York; stepchildren, Jason Sharp and wife Tammy, Beth Sharp and fiance Kevin Webb. Phil was lovingly known as "Poppy" to his three grandchildren, Logan, Lily and Lauren. He is also survived by a great family friend, Jody Smith, and his beloved Cockapoo, Gracie. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and many friends. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Etzweiler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1111 E.
