CENTER VALLEY Ralph B. Weaver, 78, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at the Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Twp. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Snyder) Weaver. Born in York, he was a son of the late Ralph G.E. and Lucretia (Henise) Weaver. He was an electrical engineer by trade and last worked as a Supervisor of the System Operations department at PPL, having worked for 35 years before retiring. Ralph received his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Bucknell University and received additional education at General Electric Power Systems Engineering School. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He was an active member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus, where he was an elder and Sunday school teacher. Surviving are his loving wife, Shirley; daughters, Kendra, wife of Dr. Stephen Motsay, Julie, wife of Craig Palumbo, and Carol, wife of Andrew Grochowski; brother, Leroy Weaver; and grandchildren, Austin, Rachel, and Peyton. He was predeceased by a brother, Leon. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus, PA 18049. Burial will follow at Bible Fellowship Cemetery, Zionsville. Friends and family may call Monday 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church. Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus, is in charge of the arrangements.
