HARRISBURG Ralph T. Everline Jr., 64, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, in Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born September 14, 1949, in Pennsville, N.J. he was the son of the late Ralph T. Everline, Sr. and Lorraine Everline. Ralph was owner of the popular Fairview Barber Shop in Etters and was an active member of the choir, deacon, and worship leader of Metropolitan Community Church of the Spirit in Harrisburg. His passions included cooking, cooking shows, classical music, and storytelling. Nobody could tell a story or a joke like Ralph. He loved traveling with his life partner. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We will surely miss his laughter. Surviving are his partner of 43 years, Richard N. Thompson; two brothers, Mark Everline and wife, Linda of Delaware, and Roger Everline of New Jersey; a nephew, Mark Jr.; and three nieces, Shelby, Meghan, and Sherry Everline. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Metropolitan Community Church of the Spirit, 2973 Jefferson St., Harrisburg. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
