BROGUE Robert "Bob" L. Seiple, 82, formerly of Red Lion, entered into rest at 2 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at at his residence. He was the husband of Earline H. (Haugh) Seiple, who entered into rest on January 17, 1995. He leaves his companion of 19 years, Doris M. (Emenheiser) Bacon. Born in Freysville, on March 21, 1930, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Helen I. (Smith) Seiple. He was a heavy equipment operator, working for United Dye, Bentzel Construction, and Harry Keller Garage. In addition to his companion, Doris, Bob is survived by eight sisters, Lucille Miller of York, Delores Peters of York, Kathryn Kohr of Red Lion, Betty Nonemaker of York, Barbara Seiple of Windsor, Donna Snider of Dover, Rosalie Poff of York, and Dianne Shaeffer of York; a brother, Dean Seiple of Windsor; numerous nieces and nephews; and man's best friend, his dog Suzzie. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth L. and Lester W. Seiple; and a sister, Freda Seiple. There will be a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 22,, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Peter M. Bedia, pastor of Bethel U.M. Church in Brogue, will officiate. Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to York Health Foundation, Cancer Patient Help Fund, 912 S. George St., York, PA 17403. Bob was a very special, loving, and caring man who always put the needs of others before his own. He was loved very much and will be forever missed by all who knew him.
