YORK Ruth C. (Sinnett) Miller, 92, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014, at Rest Haven Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in York. She was the wife of the late C. Robert Miller. The couple were married for 57 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with the Rev. Edgar C. Reed officiating. A public viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Brogue. Born December 25, 1921, in Larue, Ruth was a daughter of the late Archibald Sinnett and Alice (Wise) LaFrance. Ruth was a member of the St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brogue. She thoroughly enjoyed playing Bingo. Mrs. Miller is survived by five sons, Richard R. Miller of Brogue, Terry L. Miller and wife Sharon of Hanover, Larry G. Miller and wife Kathy of Red Lion, Lynn E. Miller and wife Victoria of Spring Grove, and Jay D. Miller and wife Deborah of Seminole, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
