Scott S. Thoman
Scott S. Thoman, 52, passed away of natural causes, Sunday, January 1, 2017, at his residence.
Mr. Thoman was born in Glen Rock on October 24, 1964, son of the late Victor A. and Arlene M. (Smith) Thoman.
He was employed by B & B Rental Services of York and was a long time employee for the former Pfaltzgraff Co. prior to it's closing.
Scott was a member of the Prince AA. He enjoyed canoeing, kayaking and hunting, in addition to being an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and NASCAR fan.
Survivors include, seven siblings, Beverly K. Martin (Mahlon) Seven Valleys, Vicki A. Becker (Rodger) York, Pamela S. Miller (Jeff) Spring Grove, Sharon L. Thoman-Hyser (Ben) Spring Grove, Debra A. Reynolds (Craig) York, Wayne E. Thoman (Nancy) York, and Mike J. Thoman (Brenda) Seven Valleys, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Harold V. Thoman and Barbara F. Lucabaugh.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2740 Roosevelt Ave., York. Officiating will be Pastor Richard F. Hall. Burial will be private. There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
