YORK Serafina Arcuri Lazzara, 91, entered into eternal rest peacefully at home with her family on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. She was the wife of Peter Lazzara for 64 years. Serafina was born January 15, 1921, in Cattolica Eraclea, Sicily, a daughter of the late Peter and Carolina (Germano) Arcuri. She lived in Hoboken, N.J., before relocating to York with her husband. She had been a seamstress at York Suit Company and later, with her husband, operated Lazzara Furniture Store. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Sons of Italy. Serafina is survived by her husband, Peter; children, Tina Lazzara Spagnola and her husband, Michael Spagnola of York, and Thomas Peter Lazzara and his wife, Wendy Hayes Lazzara of Lewisberry; grandchildren, Analisa Spagnola, Philip Spagnola, Peter Lazzara, and Nicholas Lazzara; nieces and nephews; and extended family in York, New Jersey, Montreal, and Italy. She was preceded in death by her sister, Giuseppina Colagrosso; and brother, Anthony Arcuri. A viewing will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York 17403 with a recitation of the Rosary at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday preceded by a 9 a.m. viewing at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York, with the Rev.
