SPRING GROVE Treva M. Myers, 75, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at York Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Richard C. Myers Sr., who passed away in 2004. Treva was born in Jefferson, on February 7, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Edith Bollinger. She was a longtime member of St. Peter Lischey's Church in Spring Grove. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jefferson Fire Co. She was a homemaker most of her life and worked at Value City for over 10 years. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Richard C. Myers, Jr. of Spring Grove, and Jeffrey E. Myers and his wife, Deborah of Spring Grove; her daughter, Brenda J. Starner and her husband, Troy of New Oxford; and her grandchildren, Kara, Colby and Ryan Starner. She is also survived by her sister, Annabelle Sterner. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Lischey's Church, 5671 Lischeys Church Road, Spring Grove, with Pastor Sarah Rentzel Jones officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service next to her husband in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Family services are under the direction of Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC of Spring Grove. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Peter Lischey's Church.
