WHITE HALL, MD W. Richard Green, Jr., 21, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at the University of Maryland, due to an automobile accident. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday from Shrewsbury Assembly of God, 234 N. Main St., Shrewsbury, with Pastor Robert S. Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be in Stablers Cemetery, Parkton, Md. He was born August 4, 1990, in Fort Polk, Louisiana, a son of Willie R. Sr., and Haeji Y. (Yang) Green of White Hall, Md. Richard had been employed at Mobile Body Works in Cockeysville, Md. He was a 2008 graduate of Hereford High School and was a member of Hereford Chapter of FFA. He was an avid four wheeler, enjoyed target shooting, fishing, and loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Richard is survived by a sister, Kelsey R. Green of White Hall, Md.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jarvis and Mary Green; and his uncle, Jarvis Green. J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, is in charge.
