Well Daddy, it will be one month tommorrow since you left your earthly home and went to be with our Lord, Teddy, Mother, and a whole host of great people. You have been and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew you. Everywhere I go I here how nice or how sweet you were to everyone.
All I have to say is I love you, I miss you, and save room for me up there because It will be a very short time until I'm with you again.
Until then,
Ted JR

Dear Cousins,
So many memories came rushing back when I learned your Daddy had gone to be with his Savior. As I write these words I praise God for his wonderful life, a life that touched so many other lives in ways both precious and profound. Probably my most enduring memory of Uncle Ted is of his kindness, generosity and compassion. I could always rely on him to bring a smile to my face with a riddle, an amusing story, or simply a well-timed "Who dat?"
Could any of us who knew him ever forget how he would lead us in offering a blessing before each meal? I remember how we loved to join him in front of the TV to watch Matt Dillon, Miss Kitty, Doc Adams, Chester, Festus, Newly, and the other citizens of Dodge City in those episodes of "Gunsmoke".
I shall be with you in spirit, as you remember your Daddy. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you gather to share memories and to celebrate his wonderful life. May God Bless each of you and keep you safe as you return to your respective homes.
