DOVER Melvin E. Brown, Jr., 50, entered into rest Tuesday evening, April 9, 2013, at his home. He was the loving husband of Kellie K. (Russell) Brown. The couple celebrated 32 years of marriage on January 29, 2013. Born March 9, 1963, in York, he was a son of the late Melvin E. and Hazel E. (Bastres) Brown, Sr. Melvin was a truck driver for CSR, Penn Waste and York Waste. He was a life member of Ninth Ward Social Club and a member of West York VFW Post 8951. He was an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to his wife, Melvin is survived by a daughter, Serina M. Brown and husband, Rob of Etters; a granddaughter, Alexis Brown; a grandson on the way, Mason Brown; and a niece, Samantha Steck of Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by his brother, Abraham F. Brown, Sr. and sister, Kathy E. Steck. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Melvin's funeral at 10 a.m. and the visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Christ U.C.C. in Jefferson. Memorial contributions may be made to the
