II YORK Henry H. Schaefer, II went to heaven on Sunday, January 26, 2014. He was a math teacher at the Dallastown Middle School and a former coach for the girls basketball team. He started his teaching career at York High School. He graduated from Charleston Catholic High in West Virgina Class of 1984. He was a 1989 graduate of St. Bonaventure University in Olean, N.Y., and a 1991 graduate of SUNY of Plattsburgh where he received his Masters in Education. Born in Baltimore, Md.. on May 19, 1966, he was the son of the late Henry H. Schaefer, Sr. and of Elaine M. (Duquette) Schaefer of North Syracuse, N.Y. In addition to his mother, he leaves his soul mate, Julie Romero; sister, Dore Schaefer; and niece, Michelle Pfaff. A memorial service to celebrate Henry's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., in Dallastown. Prior to the service, a visitation with the family will be held 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
