III HARRISBURG Bruce Andrew Ruppert III, 46, of Harrisburg, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at the Harrisburg Hospital. Born on April 21, 1967, in Lafayette, La., he was the son of Dorothy L. (Gurreri) Ruppert and Bruce A. Ruppert, Jr. Bruce attended Vo-Tech High School. He was a self-employed construction worker. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars. Bruce leaves to cherish his memory, a beloved daughter, Alyssa Nichole Ruppert and her mother, Dee Bere of York; his mother of York; his father of Delaware; siblings, Russell Decker III and wife Kelly of York, Anita Washko of Arizona, Amy Loucks of Florida, Abbe Burnett and husband Dale of Mt. Wolf, Angelina Gurreri, partner Nilda Roman of Lancaster; and a host of family and friends. Family and friends may attend a viewing on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 8 p.m. with Brother Robert Lawson officiating. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge.
