Shirley L. Greiman Obituary
YORK Shirley L. (Myers) Greiman, 82, entered the presence of God on March 22, 2014, from ManorCare North. She was the wife of Robert G. Greiman with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Born on August 10, 1931, in York, she was the daughter of the late Minnie (Stark) and Christian Myers. She graduated from William Penn Sr. High school. She retired from Dentsply in the manufacturing of dental equipment division and was a member of the 25-year club. Shirley worked at the Candy Stand at Morningstar Market. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley enjoyed gardening, being outside on a warm sunny day with the birds and the bees, going to Ocean City, and was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan. Her presence and smile will be deeply missed by her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert G. Greiman of York; a son, Robert W. Greiman of Reading; two daughters, Lisa Airing of Dallastown, Christine Gwinn of York; five granchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Merlin L. Myers and wife Miriam of Cross Keys. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lineas Myers. A Celebration of Life Service will be on April 11, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the First Church of the Brethren in the Chapel, 2710 Kingston Road, York, with Pastor Donal Hubbell officiating. Memorial Contributions may be sent to the Salvation Army, 50 E. King St., York, Pa.17401. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge.
