WINDSOR Mary F. (Blevins) Frey, 82, entered into eternal rest after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at 5:27 p.m. at Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community. She was the wife of Wilbert "Whip" E. Frey, who entered into rest on April 30, 2004. She was born in Somerset, on January 26, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Willard Bryon and Edith May (Hilleary) Blevins. Mary worked for 30 years as a machine presser at the former York Suit Company. She then worked as a hand sander at the former Nathan Hale in Red Lion for 15 years, until its closing. Surviving are a son, Donald R. "Butch" Blevins and his wife, Karen of Red Lion, his twin sister, Donna M. "Susie" Irwin of Red Lion, and a daughter, Dixie Frey Arnold and her husband, Steven of Dushore; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Willard J. Blevins of Red Lion, Robert J. Blevins of Felton, and Allen Wright Blevins of Montrose, W.Va.; a sister, Janet L. Grafton of Dover; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angela Rineholt, in 2010; and a sister, Norma J. Smith. There will be a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Mary will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. David D. Tietje, pastor of St. John's U.C.C., officiating. Burial will be at Salem Community Cemetery near Martinsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to York Health Foundation, Cancer Patient Help Fund, 50 N. Duke St., York, PA 17401. Mary was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
