LOGANVILLE Sonja Ellen Danner, 63, entered into the presence of God on Thursday, May 8, 2014, from her home, with family by her side. She fought a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 17, 1950, in York, she was the daughter of the late Eva Ellen (Dehoff) Danner and James Leroy Danner. In previous years, she was employed by the Shelter Workshop. She enjoyed traveling, having visited 48 states. Sonja leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Joy Glessner of Jacobus, and Cornelia Danner of Loganville; three nieces, Caroline Lovejoy-Toler and husband, Wayne Toler of Ohio, and Wendy Glessner and Michele Weston, both of York; three grand-nieces, Kaitlin, Reagan, and Emily; a grand-nephew, Bryton; and a host of cousins. A viewing will be on Monday, May 12, 2014, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Starr officating. Interment will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery.
