MOUNT WOLF Helen R. Ricker, 53, entered into rest at 6:23 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late David P. Ricker. Born February 28, 1961, in York, she was a daughter of the late Russell R. and Hannah M. (Caplinger) Hollinger. Helen graduated from Northeastern High School. She was a van driver for F&S Transportation and received many awards for her safe driving. Helen previously worked at Hake's Grocery Store. She enjoyed crafting, flower gardening and knitting. Helen is survived by two children, Mandy L. Ricker Kessler and husband Jeremy of Dover, and Bradley Ricker of Mount Wolf; and a brother, Jeffrey Hollinger of Texas. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen's memorial service at 7 p.m. with a visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Christ U.C.C. in Codorus. Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to York County S.P.C.A., 3159 N.
