DOVER John J. "Jay" Lynch, 48, of Dover Township, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at his residence after a courageous eight month battle with cancer. Born November 26, 1965, in York, a son of Patrick E. and Mari-Louise (Papp) Lynch of Dover and Gardners, he was a 1983 graduate of York Catholic. He had worked as a bartender for Shiloh American Legion Post #791 for 17 years, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Stoneybrook Camp, in Elk County, and Dover Camp, in Perry County. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lynch is survived by a brother, Mike Lynch, and his wife Lisa, of Dover; a sister, Christine M. Eberhart, and her husband Guy, of Virginia Beach, Va.; two nephews, JP Eberhart and Ted Eberhart; a niece, Jill Eberhart; and his long-time girlfriend, Lisa K. Golden, of Shiloh. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, Shiloh.
