RED LION Clarence M. Saylor, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2014, at the York Hospital. He was the loving husband of June A. (Everhart) Saylor. The couple celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on May 6, 2014. Mr. Saylor was born May 8, 1921, in York. He was the son of the late William and Myrtle (Rent) Saylor. Clarence was a wood worker and worked in the furniture manufacturing industry. He enjoyed doing small engine repair and repairing bicycles. In addition to his wife, Clarence is survived by his three children, Bonnie Barshinger and her husband, John of Windsor, Brenda Markle and her companion, Wayne Blevins of Stewartstown, and Todd Saylor and his wife, Laureen Wagner of Lancaster. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a few nieces and nephews. A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steve Schmuck officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
