DOVER Pearl R. (Harman) Enright, 85, died of natural causes Monday April 21, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late James L. Enright, Jr. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Pearl was born on September 5, 1928, in York, a daughter of the late Roser G. and Edith R. (Shelly) Harman. She had been employed at the former First National Bank, downtown York and had also been a substitute secretary and worked in the library for Dover Area High School for several years. She was a member of the Shiloh United Church of Christ, West York VFW Post #8951 and of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shiloh American Post #791. Pearl is survived by a daughter, Marcia E. Forbes and husband Donald of Dover; three grandchildren, Meaghan, Stephen, and Katelyn Forbes; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen A. Enright; a sister, Edna Stough; and brothers, Roser G. Harman, Jr. and Charles R. Harman. Those "Manhattan Gals" in heaven are so excited, they don't know whether to jump on a bus, go bowling, or have a card party! In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Central Pennsylvania Chapter, Hope Club of York, 2040 Linglestown Road, Suite 104, Harrisburg, PA 17110; or to Shiloh United Church of Christ, 2251 Willow Road, York, PA 17408.
