YORK Grace M. Schrum, 98, of W. Manchester Twp., died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Charles D. Schrum, Jr. Born in York, on October 5, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Katie (Smith) Ness. Grace was a homemaker and farmer's wife. She was a life member of St. Paul E.C. Church, where she taught Sunday School, attended the Women's Guild, and helped with church functions. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, as well as supplying dish cloths to the church. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley F. Bupp and her husband, Ronald of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a son, Rodney L. Schrum and his wife, Nancy of York; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Rick L. Bupp; three brothers; and four sisters. Viewing will be Sunday, June 22, 2014, from 1 to 2 p.m. at St. Paul Wolf's Evangelical Covenant Church, 4501 Wolf's Church Road in York. The service will follow on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the church. Officiating will be the Rev. Richard E. Benner and the Rev. Thomas D. Bellis. Burial will be in St. Paul (Wolf's) Church Cemetery. The Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St. in York, is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Wolf's E.C. Church, 4501 Wolf's Church Road, York, PA 17408.
