WINDSOR Kim Dallas Bacon, 56, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at York Hospital. He was the companion of Sandra M. Blevins. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1674 Furnace Road, Brogue, with his pastor, the Rev. Joshua T. Beben, officiating. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be held in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. Born May 31, 1958, in York, he was a son of Shirley A. (Hoffmaster) Bacon and the late Dallas D. Bacon. He was employed with York Saw as a machinist for past 38 years. A passionate outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a member of Collinsville Fish & Game, Bear's Den Camp in Blair County, and Bethel United Methodist Church. Kim is also survived by a sister, Tina M. Metz and her husband, Mark of Red Lion; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
