SEVEN VALLEYS Barry L. Whorley, Jr., 45, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Kandy L. (Ness) Whorley, with whom he celebrated 24 years of marriage. Born in York, on July 14, 1968, he was the son of the Barry L. Whorley, Sr. and Judy A. (Hendershot) Whorley of Dallastown. He was a 1986 graduate of Dallastown High School and served in the United States Navy. Barry was a painter. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Shawn M. Whorley of Loganville; a daughter, Brianne N. Whorley of Loganville; his mother-in-law; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; two nieces; two nephews; and his dog, Snoball. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home 1111 E. Market St., York, with viewings on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. and Monday July 7, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m., both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
