DOVER Vickie L. Crone, 61, entered into rest at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at her home. She was the loving wife of Terry L. Crone. The couple celebrated 42 years of marriage on August 21, 2013. Born August 27, 1952, in Mechanicsburg, Vickie was a daughter of Helen M. (Zimmerman) Vogelsong of Carlisle and the late Lester L. Vogelsong. She graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1970 and worked as a secretary for Performance Printing for 22 years. She also worked as an office assistant for Wheatlyn Family Medicine for five years. Vickie attended Dover Bethany U.M. Church and loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed the many beach trips with her mother and sisters, as well as baking. In addition to her husband and mother, Vickie is survived by three brothers, Robert L. Vogelsong of Mechanicsburg, Bradley J. Vogelsong of Camp Hill, and Lester L. Vogelsong, Jr. of Carlisle; three sisters, Sharon K. Eisenhower of Thomasville, Shirley A. Stoltz of Carlisle, and Rose M. Block of Plainfield, Ill.; seven nephews; eight nieces; and one great-nephew. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith A. Crone; sister, Barbara A. Riordan; and brother, Kenneth E. Vogelsong. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Vickie's funeral at 11 a.m. with the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Rohler's Mountainview Cemetery, Dover. Officiating will be retired United Methodist pastor, the Rev. David Watkins.
