DILLSBURG William Ray Gore, passed from this Earthly life on July 5, 2014, at "Beinn Bhreagh", his home at 110 Chestnut Grove Road, Dillsburg, Carroll Township, Pennsylvania. Born in Harrisburg Hospital on September 26, 1948, he was the only child of the late Arthur Ray and Mary Ann Gore. He served in the United States Army and Army Reserves, and was a graduate of York College. Formerly a teacher in Baltimore County Schools and the Dallastown Area School District, he enjoyed traveling in his Airstream throughout the United States and Canada-especially Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia-cruising the Chesapeake on his "Sea Dust", and acquiring some favorite vehicles. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Janet (Klees) Gore, formerly of Mahanoy City and Pottsville, a daughter, Karen Miller Seivard, a son-in-law Christopher B. Seivard, and grandchildren, Jackson Miller Seivard and Joanna Seivard, of Dillsburg. Also surviving him, and dear to his heart, were his beloved cousins, Beverly and Brian, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, good friends, Bill, Russ, Damon, Amy, Jason, Brian, "the Eds", his care giver, Sandy, and Kate and the "Lady Bug Team".
