Michael L. Krouse Obituary
WINTERSTOWN Michael Luther Krouse, formerly of Winterstown, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Sunday, July 20 at 7:30 a.m. at York Hospital at the age of 68. He was born in Winters-town on May 24, 1946, and was the son of the late Luther M. and Ruth (Hannigan) Krouse. He was a custodian at Yorktowne Kitchens and also at Stewartstown Furniture Factory. He was a member of Winterstown United Methodist Church and he also attended Sunday School and served as an Honorary Usher. Michael is survived by his sister, Donna K. Overmiller and husband Richard of Winterstown; three nieces, Terri, AmySue and Crystal; five great-nieces, Abigail, Angela, Amanda, Morgan and Meghan; and one great-great-niece, Kaitlan; and a great-great-nephew, Tyler. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Mike will be on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. His pastor, the Rev. Keith J. Schmuck will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Winterstown EV Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Winterstown UM Church "Going Green", 12184 Winterstown Road, Felton, PA 17322. Michael loved to dance and he loved the ladies, but his very special friend was Tammy Graham. He was honored with an Honorary Membership to Winterstown Volunteer Fire Company and he always enjoyed helping out there. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
