Timothy J. Kessler Obituary
DOVER Timothy John Kessler, 53, passed through heav-en's gates early on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the York Hospital. He was the loving and devoted husband of Pamela G. (Eckenrode) Kessler. The couple celebrated 32 years of marriage on May 15, 2014. Born May 1, 1961, in Hanover, Tim was a son of the late Clyde and Bertha (Bollinger) Kessler. He was a 1979 graduate of Spring Grove High School and was currently employed at Road-Con, Inc., of West Chester. Tim previously worked as a road construction operator for Pennsy Construction, formerly McMinns Construction Company in Lancaster. He attended Pathway Community Church in York. Tim was an avid hunter and Orioles baseball fan. In addition to his wife, Tim was a loving and dedicated father to his daughter, Jen Kessler of West Virginia, and his son, Kyle Kessler of Dover. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Fay Eckenrode of Dover; two brothers, Dave Kessler of New Oxford and Tom Kessler and wife, Kira of East Berlin; five sisters, Phyllis Nace and husband, John, and Anne Becker and husband, Phil, all of Spring Grove, Peggy Keller and husband, Alvin of Landisburg, Cindy Myers and husband, Gary of Felton, and Carolyn Abel of East Berlin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Tim's funeral at 7:30 p.m. with the viewing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Adin Herndon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603; or Pathway Community Church, 1731 W. Philadelphia St.. York, PA 17404.
