STEWARTSTOWN Gloria Edith "Mom" Baublitz, 78, died August 7, 2014, at the home of her son Edward in Stewartstown. A viewing will be held 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, with the Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating. Interment will be private. Gloria was born April 10, 1936, in Dover, to the late Samuel C. Auchey and Frances Hake-Trimmer. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Baublitz, Sr. Gloria was currently employed as a newspaper carrier with the York Newspaper Company. She was previously employed for 10 years as a manager with the Rutter's Farm Store in Shrewsbury, retiring in 2003. Gloria was a member of Stewart American Legion Post 455 Women's Auxiliary and the Benedict Meade V.F.W. Post 7046 Women's Auxiliary in Stewartstown. She will always be remembered as a person who would help anyone at any time. Gloria loved the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens. She is survived by her children, Edward H., Baublitz, Jr., and his wife, Wanda, Thomas W. Baublitz and his wife, Wendy, Candy L. Ring and her husband, Terry, Garth E. Baublitz and his wife, Aileen and Jennifer M. Dix and her husband, Bill; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Florence Witter. In addition to her late husband and parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angelia Ring; sister, Mary Kunkle; and stepfather, George Trimmer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Central PA Chapter, 2408 Park Drive, Suite A, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
