YORK Paul E. Boldizar, 91, entered into rest on Friday afternoon, October 5, 2012, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. He was the husband of Mildred L. (Lease) Boldizar for 66 years. He was born September 22, 1921, in Amsbury, Pa., the son of the late Gabrielle and Mary (Kish) Boldizar. Paul worked for Pitman Manufacturing Corp. for 32 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Church and York Association for the Deaf. A viewing will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York. Cremation will follow and a Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. In addition to his wife, Mildred, Paul is survived by a son, John A. Boldizar and wife, Lisa of York; a daughter, Mary L. Detter and husband, Russell, Sr. of York; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, George Boldizar; and a sister, Olga Olson. He was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
