YORK HAVEN David G. Buss, age 70, of Newberry Township, died Friday, October 5, 2012 afternoon at his residence. Born April 25, 1942 in Sewickley, a son of the late Ivan C. and Ellis V. (Jackson) Buss, he was retired from Kemp Food Service where he was employed for 42 years. He was an avid hunter, and was a member of Blain Sportsman's Club, and was also a member of Teamsters Local #430. Mr. Buss is survived by his longtime companion, Barbara Mummert of Seven Valleys; two sons, Brian A. Buss, Sr., and his wife Mindy, of York Haven, and Ronald L. Buss of Dover; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; five brothers, Robert Buss, James Buss, Thomas Buss, Richard Buss, and William Buss; two sisters, Nadine Marsh and Donna Shaffer; his former wife, Barb (Kohler) Creamer; and his fox terriers that never left his side, Lady and Kenzer Sue. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Buss and a sister, Virginia Fieman. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, with The Rev. Andrew C. Phillips officiating. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens.
